Boris
I've got several largish 5-600MB files which are saved on CD and I've been copying them to my 2nd H/DThe optical drive is a brand new LG GH22NS50 22x SATA DVD-Writer updated to the TN02 latest firmware. The H/D is a brand new 320GB Samsung HD322HJ SATA II 16MB cacheI have 4GB Crucial PC6400CPU is a quad core Athlon II X4 620 2.6GhzSo there should be no bottlenecks :) The machine flies doing all other tasksHowever it is taking 15 mins to do the 5-600MB file transfer each time :0 From googling, this does seem to be a problem others have experienced with Windows 7 ????Has anyone else here had the same experience ? catgate
I know nothing of W7 so can not contribute anything constructive. However I find your problem interesting. Is the copying being done directly from CD/DVD to HD2 or is it being cached as parcels on HD1 prior to transfering to HD2?
Hb_Kai
Not. :PWill they transfer to anything else like a pen drive or anything faster?
