skaski
Hello. I'm new here :)I've been searching the internet for something that shows me the exact location of the Windows Calendar .exe file, as I want to put a shortcut in the desktop, but I can't seem to find it.I searched the whole computer and it doesn't even appear! The only way I have to access the program is through the startup section of TuneUp Utilities, so I know the Calendar exists!Anyone can help, please? And other business, does anyone know other calendar-type program like the windows one? I need one which doesn't use too much memory, simple to use and easy to learn...Thanks in advance!
Irene
Hello saski, welcome to the forum. My Google search indicated that Calendar files have the .ics extention, so you could try searching for *.ics :)
AlanHo
What version of Windows are you using - if it is Windows 7 the calender programme is not included and must be downloaded from Windows Live Essentials
skaski
Hello saski, welcome to the forum. My Google search indicated that Calendar files have the .ics extention, so you could try searching for *.ics :)Yes, it worked! Thank you very much! :)For future doubts about this matter try to look in the C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Calendar\Calendars directory.
