artist
Having just had to reinstall ( I lost the HP Manager during this process) - my printer after messing up the removal, I find there is an old version on the add/remove list - last used 2005. I have noticed it before but just assumed it was an update. There is no option to remove it..what can I do? When the new PC is set up, there will be a new printer and I worry that this will upset things. The present one is a HP psc 900 series all in one. Alan2273
Have you tried removing it using the tools in CCleaner?Or you could try this free uninstaller, but I have not tried it so cannot recommend it. http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninst...e_download.html
-pops-
During my settings-up of W7, I've found printers are much more cooperative in being installed/un-installed/messed about with than they were previously
artist
During my settings-up of W7, I've found printers are much more cooperative in being installed/un-installed/messed about with than they were previouslyThe trouble is that hubby will be using this old PC. I would like to get it 'clean' for him...Alan - strangely, on CCleaner there is only the one printer - So, it's only on the Add/ Remove list - should I worry about it? Alan2273
Have you tried right clicking the entry, it may give you the option to delete the entry.I certainly would not worry about it.
