Tankus Posted September 4, 2003 Report Share Posted September 4, 2003 Considering Im probably one of the few members here thats been in a sheep dip ( I was ramed from behind and lost my footing) .Its remarkably unpleasant , Your eyes sting worse that soap , and it took a hose down, plus 2 showers and a hair cut , to get rid of the smell......The taste is absolutly disgusting , especially since about a third of the flock had already passed through it....... (I used to work on a sheep farm) The other bastards were laughing so hard, they would not help me out ,I had to swim to the ramp and crawl out... incidently the stuff we were using then ,has now been banned , as the organo phospates in it have been found to interfere with the nervous system causing a parkinsons like disease , in long term users.......ah wellno flies on me....!Ive also tried sheep dip malt, (and pigs nose) .... Not too fussed ...Its a peaty oneEditNah ........it was a sheep that head butted me in the small of my back..... (revenge? )I was rather hurt , as I hit the side wall on the way down , and pannicked somewhat as my eyes hurt and was winded .... 6 ft deep with 3 ft walls , I had to follow the one climbing on the out ramp to the draining pen.....Everyone was laughing too hard to help me out Its funny now looking back , but it wasnt at the time .
