-pops-
Don't know if this is what you want but, it's worth a try:In control Panel -> Personalization -> Change Window glass colours: alter the colour intensity slider and/or untick Enable transparency. MANEMAN
When it's innactive it's transparent. Can I change it somehow?Right click on the desktop. Choose the Personalize Option and then click on Personalize Window. Now click on the Windows Color Option. Now you will be displayed the Windows Color and Appearance dialogue box which can be disabled by un-checking the Enable transparency feature. Finally you can click on the Save button to save all the changes.
MANEMAN
I've just realised that I've just said exactly what Pops said in his post. It would seem apart from those settings there is perhaps no other way to change it. How about just minimizing the open WMP window, surely that would get it off the screen at least ?
