MANEMAN
hello i have been trying to delete windows.old from my acer aspire 5536 laptop but to no avail,so i now want to format my c: drive and reinstall windows 7 ultimate, does anyone know how to format c: please ?thank you.Hi John. Before you get an answer at all. :P Have you got all of your data backed up ? (Music, photos, documents, etc; etc.)Are you sure that you will have to hand, all of the drivers that you will need for a clean install ?( Motherboard/Chipset, Video,Audio,Lan, Wi-fi, and all of those that you wont find on a clean install)I realise that you have upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 without problems, but am a bit concerned that you may not have drivers to hand before someone tells you how to format. Better safe than sorry. :( Another John.
Seshomaru Samma
There will be an option to format the partition during the installation.Look at my attached picture.Notice that your setup might be different, for example you might have a few partitions. As Maneman said - make sure you have all the drivers and your data is backed up before you start the installation.
