Format INSYS M541SR

Recommended Posts

Good Guys. I have Vista, and wanted to format the pc ..

And so, I put the cd format into the drive (I tried both the XP and Windows 7), do a Restart, but the drive does not start the Boot.Someone help me?

Have you been into the BIOS and checked that your CD drive is set as primary boot source?

You usually get instruction which key to press, to enter BIOS, as the first thing on the screen after pushing the start up button. It will be displayed in white on black usually at the bottom right of the screen before you get the beeping to indicate the POST check.

With XP you need to do as Catgate suggested and check that the BIOS is set for the computer to boot from CD. However, I have found that with Windows 7, you simply put the DVD into your tray and select to install. It will delete the installation already on the computer and install afresh. No need to try and boot with the DVD.smile.gif
