AMD Athlon)Windows only seems to see 1 gig of it .. with just 1 X 1 gig windows sees 512meg.How do I make windows see all of it .. is there a switch bit somewhere .. Then replace it with the other 1Gig module in the same slot and see if that is recognised. CPU-Z sees them as 1 gig .. so they must be working OK .. there are threads in other forums about similar problems .. often seeing only 2 gig when 3 installed, .. but I cant understand much of the chat (I am not all that techie)did see something about graphics cards using main memory .. but when I had only half agig windows showed the whole amount. Belarc says "Board: KM266-8235 " .. if that's any helpthe cover shows a tiger head (in blue) and a pyramid of pyramids wit a sphere in the centre .. if that helps identify .. The sticks are double sided and the originals were single .. though there are connector tabs on both sides .. so I suspect I possibly didn't do enough research before I bought the new sticks ..D Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Boris Posted March 21, 2010 Report Share Posted March 21, 2010 It is possible that an update to the latest BIOS might enable more than 1GB of RAM to be recognised - but there are no details of what the later BIOS supports.You would have to update the BIOS at your own risk !Perhaps an e-mail to Biostar support as to what the max RAM your board will support with that latest 2007 BIOS might give you more help ?
