Boris
Are you talking about Office 2007 ? - if so which Operating System are you using to try and make a backup ?Have you seen :-/>http://support.microsoft.com/kb/904423
-pops-
This can be caused by anti-virus and/or other anti-malware programs seeing backup as a virus and thus not allowing the procedure to take place.Try turning the anti-virus off and then doing the backup - I strongly recommend disconnecting from the Internet when you do this. If successful, think seriously about changing your anti-virus program. MS Security Essentials is a good program and compatible with Windows processes. Best of all, it is free. -pops-
The backup program included in Windows is not of the best and you may be better using an independent one such as Acronis.
AlanHo
The September issue of the PC Pro magazine (DVD version) which has just hit the newsagents includes a DVD with a full version of Paragon System Backup 2010 plus many other free utilities. Not bad for £4.99 eh..................... B) I use Acronis and have not tried Paragon - but their partitioning software is very good and I imagine that their backup software will be reliable.Might be worth googling for more info. AlanHo
I do not know if they can get PC Pro in Portugal ???Unlike you mods, us mere mortals have no way of knowing where a member resides if the poster has not given any indication in their profile. Unless of course there is a way we can check........
