FireStorm102389
Hey, I have been looking around the internet and I can't find anything that really tells me everything i need to know. I get files and what not, but when it comes to making the CD the sites don't seem very descriptive on how to go about it. Here is the site that looked most promising:/>http://www.nu2.nu/bootcd/#cdromsiI downloaded a program called HDDsecure.exe to wipe my hard drive. I want to make a boot CD where I can get that in there and be able to work with it. However, I have all the files that site told me to download, but I don't know how to execute the making the disk part. I was looking in the "Bootable Dos CD-Rom (single boot image)" part on the page, I'm pretty sure that's the right part I should be looking at based on what I want my CD to do. Please get back to me, Thank You in advance!

bludgard
A little history on MS-DOS.You can use your OS installation disk to do most of what you want to do.I suppose it is still possible to create this MS-DOS bootable media, yet we have come a long way since then. There are plenty of alternative OS diagnostic tools available out there, check THIS out,for instance.Keep us updated.I am interested as to how this works out for you.Oh,and welcome to Windows Forum, FireStorm102389.
