The printer is found and recognised but won't install - I installed the driver as per the instructions *before* connecting the printer, then connected it. It was found, files were copied, then I got this error:Error: The specified file cannot be foundI tried re-installing the driver after downloading it from canon's website, same problem. I tried to install the printer through the "new printer" dialog in the control panel, got the messageThe printer driver is not installedWhat else can I try?My computer has XP SP3, fully up to date, the printer is connected to a backside USB port (no hub etc), cable works with other peripherals (and the printer is detected anyway...).The motherboard is old (MSI k8t800....) but there is no reason it shouldn't work as the software is up to date and the hardware should be good enough (USB 2...).Any idea?Thanks!
