Broken Digital Signatures

When scanning my computer with the latest AVG (paid) I got a message that 26 files had a broken digital signature. I wrote to AVG and they were unable to help sending me something to download to send information to them. When I tried to download or open a file from that site I got a message that it could damage my computer so I chose not do send them information. A few days later the free AVG updated on a 2nd computer. When I did a scan I got the same issue. AVG says it's my computer but in looking at blogs I am finding that AVG seems to be the issue. I still have about six months left on my paid edition so really don't want to delete the program. I have had it for years and this is a first that I have had an issue with it? Do you have any ideas, someone suggested going back to a previous version but I am unsure how to do that. Thank you!

I wouldn't worry about it :)

My AVG also identifies some of these - usually drivers "issued by: Microsoft Corporation"

In the AVG Scan Results they just show under the "Information" tab, rather than under "Infections" or Spyware"

I believe that AVG have "lost the plot" a bit recently ?

Let your paid AVG run out and when it does - install the free Microsoft Security Essentials. I intend to :D

Boris you're quite right. I've done the same. Allowed AVG to laspe and I am now happy using MSE
