doug
I hope to carry the attached banner taped to a stick as far as I can. If it becomes too much I will deposit at a suitable place. I also intend to carry a spare in my back pocket and if I remember will carry it over the finish line.I'm sorry I haven't got my website working properly yet, am having trouble getting the link to the third page working. Will keep plugging away at it.Don't forget if you should see me on the box give me a bellow. Nel you can blow a kiss and artist and Kirsty and poppy and....

doug
Thanks my fellow elder venerated friend. I've just found out what I was doing wrong on my website for the link to page 3. There should only be 3 w's not 4 in the URL :D So if anyone is interested in what I've been up to they can find out on my website. It is a very small thing but mine own  Just click on the www button at the bottom of this reply.

doug
Thanks. One hell of a long way to go yet but it's a start. Just trying to do a sketch (tracing) of where I run (copyrite problems) hope to put it in later. Am doing the tracing on grease proof paper. Bit of a clart on. :P

doug
Thanks for encouragement. Yes Nel but it's very large scale. Am just adding the rough draft to my website. Give us a mo.
doug
Think my Black Widow scanner is showing it's age. I assure you that I used plain greaseproof paper for the sketch and backed it with white paper. Anyway, I find I can now add images at will. Will produce a decent version asap.PS the dashed blue line is the track I use finishing up near the Beamish Open Air Museum passing King Coal on the way - for Nel's info. doug
Forgot to say Nel. Yes did have some pasta and turkey. Unfortunately we have No.1 G'daughter with us to night then just as I was laying up No.1 Daughter & hubby (G'daughter's Aunt & Uncle) turned up. They are going to start with me on Sun. However, After I had sorted out some long reach drill bits for son-in-law (they've just moved house last week) and cleaned up the floor - G'daughter had an accident with her pasta, a real accident - my pasta was a bit like rubber. Still managed to chew through about half. So making up for it with a decent shot of whiskey at this very moment. Will be on the waggon from tomorrow 'till after the run when I will be looking forward to some of andsome's etcetera's :D
