I gave my sister a computer I built a while back and I don't know if I ever had this problem but, when she tries to put the computer in stand by mode, it sounds like the hard drive turns off and the monitor turns off as well but, the psu is still on. I've take screen shots of the power settings so maybe one of you could hopefully point me in the right direction. This is windows xp with sp2. Isn't everything supposed to turn off? I don't have xp on my machine but when I put it to sleep it seems as if its turned off. Nothing is running including the fans.
