Dear All,

overall its a rare and annoying problem for past 2 weeks. Everything works fine until last 2 weeks back.

Iam using one client application based on java, via VPN

1, I can ping my application server via VPN

2, I can telnet the application port,

3, I can tracert the application server

But cannot connect the application and the error says unable to reach server , time out.

Also I can:t open the application http page using my browser its searching for long time and gives me error.

The interesting thing is I can connect this same application via public IP without VPN using the same machines.

Also one of my winXP pc is also connecting the application via VPN and it opens http page via my browser:

Where can I check this to fix it?? Is their any updates recently enrolled?

Please anyone help me to fix it , please ask me if you need any more detail information.

Will windows block internal IP address?? where can I find that?

I tried disabling firewall uninstalling antivirus and all

Appreciate your kind help to fix this

If this has been going on for the last couple of weeks, then surely you must have a restore point to revert to predating this issue?

Or better yet,an image backup to recover from?

If none of this applies to your situation, these tools may be something to consider in the future.Especially with the setup you employ.

Sorry I couldn't offer more help.

Hi all,

Problem solved after installed Cisco VPN client.

Anyone know what all networking components will upgrade while installing?

Installed and un-installed client software and now everything working fine via site to site vpn..

But again how can I fix this ?

Is their any patch or fix available for windows ? I tried XP, Vista and Windows 7 all patched.. but nothing worked out.

If I installed Cisco client then everything works great.
