I uninstalled the synaptic thing, and my cursor is still jumping randomly, leaving me with loads of spelling mistakes to clean up after I make a post. My hands aren't even touching the mousepad and it still does it. Any suggestions, or should I be adjusting any settings, like perhaps the touchpad sensitivity level or the keyboard or something? I downloaded that TouchFreeze deal so that you can have it where even if your hand grazes the touch pad, it won't hit it and make your cursor go all over the place. This actually happens on forums. I haven't tried it on a typing program, but I think the problem is solved as if it were to keep doing it, it would still be going on. Well, as you said this is pretty much resolved, but I'll keep that in mind for next time, should this happen again. I'm just glad that now I can go back to typing long responses on forums without worrying about having to check my spelling the whole darn time.
