Nathan Bentley
I have done lots of things! Copied it into different files, did CMD on it but still it won't let me open:Component 'MSWINSCK.OCX' or one of it's dependencies not correctly registered: a file missing or invalid. Now how do I find out what dependencies it could be as there isn't any other files there? Also I have moved it into C:\Windows\System and C:\Windows\System36 or something!I am really confused and it doesn't make sense, I am not the brightest spark so don't get too technical. Boris
The file should be put in the C:\WINDOWS\system32 folderTo register your mswinsck.ocx fileSelect START on the Windows Task Bar,Select RUN and type:Regsvr32 mswinsck.ocxThen select OK.Provide all control dependencies have been correctly installed and register, this should successfully register the OCX file. You'll eventually get a message saying the OCX has been successfully registered
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Select RUN and type:Regsvr32 mswinsck.ocxThen select OK.Actually, I believe the module to be registered should be specified with the full path:regsvr32 C:\Windows\system32\mswinsck.ocx
