My wife recently visited one of our "posh, prim and proper" neighbours who was baby-sitting her 2 to 3 year old grand daughter. While they were chatting the child passed wind quite loudly and giggled. A little embarrassed, the neighbour whispered to her grandchild "Was that a potty noise Rebecca" The kid replied "No grandma – I FARTED" The neighbour told my wife that she blamed her son in law for the child 's bad language – insisting there was no way her daughter would have used such language in front of the child.
