Boris
If you still had a working Windows paartition you could have tried this ? EASEUS Partition Recovery Free :- http://www.easeus.com/partition-recovery/But as you only have Linux - you could try TestDisk ?/>http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk
Digerati
If you simply deleted the partitions, you might be lucky, but you installed a whole new operating system, and all its files over top. That creates a big problem if your goal is to recover the data that was previously in those partitions. If you are trying to recover data, you might try Recuva, from the makers of CCleaner. Maybe I just do not understand the software?I would suggest TestDisk as well. I have recovered working images with this program. Not the most user friendly, though.Just my two pence. Digerati
I have tried Recuva. And found it lacking as far as complete data recovery. Maybe I just do not understand the software? No recovery is perfect - especially if the disk has been used at all since the file/folder/partition was deleted. That said, Recuva is primarily a file and folder recovery program, not a partition recovery program.
HannahJohn
I guess its hard to get back those files or partition which you were deleted because you replaces all the system files with a newer one. Maybe any of data recover software helps you if you means to recover your previous data.

If you have the time... go for a degree. It ain't worth more than experience these days, but it pays the bill. (Not).
