Boris
Just installed the 32bit version on an old rig that I use for testing components : Athlon 2400+, 1GB PC2700, 128MB Geforce4 AGP graphics. The whole process over in 20 minutes - everything detected on first reboot and to date everything working fine.Using it now to post this,
Alan2273
John, for a brief period it took the number one spot for downloads of Ubuntu. It seems the new Unity desktop in Ubuntu is a pain to customize.
Boris
Yes I tried it out - but didn't like Unity.I'm also going to try out Fedora 15 over the weekend

Boris
You're right - Fedora is quite different to Mint :0 Some stunning wallpapers included as standard though :)Would post some - but I don't know how to resize .pngs with FedoraQuite like the Activities - Windows/Applications toggle - nice big icons. Alan2273
Quite like the Activities - Windows/Applications toggle - nice big icons.Yes they certainly are big and on a 23" monitor they are huge. But on the laptop they are just about right.I am just about to see if this distro will pick up the Broadcom wifi drivers as only PCLOS has managed that to date, on Mint I had to use the CL to get it working, which is a pain.
