Duc Posted June 15, 2011 Report Share Posted June 15, 2011 I am getting this error code 80200024 when I try to install updates for Windows Vista 64 version. I've tried searching for the error code but not much is being said about this code. It has to do with BITS, but I do not know how to go about fixing it. Thank you. Duc Posted June 15, 2011 Author Report Share Posted June 15, 2011 Yes, I am using privoxy. I'm running a test web server using ubuntu server as the OS. This is where privoxy is installed. I have two client machines connected to the same network and only one cannot perform the update. I tried disabling the privoxy server by going to the option menu within IE browser & unchecking proxy service. It didn't work, however. Boris Posted June 29, 2011 Report Share Posted June 29, 2011 Sorry, but I know little about Ubuntu and nothing about Privoxy.Others have appeared to suffer similar problems when using proxies, but no solutions are evident.Have you tried contacting Priovoxy support ?
