Action center flag disappears

Recommended Posts

Ok , as the title says ,the flag disappears particularly if explorer restarts .i have it set to show icons and notifications ,the funny thing is it does the same on the laptop(currently using desktop)

occasionally i can get it back by opening Godmode folder but this is a nuisance and not always successful. on the laptop last night i performed a system restore to a point when it was ok ,it didnt work also ran sfc/scannow ,the flag came back but on reboot it was gone again.

any ideas folks?

Isn't it the case that if no action is required the flag is not shown?

I've always found that the alerts shown by this "helper" are more of a nuisance than real alerts. There are two on this machine at the moment: the first tells me to change my Windows Update settings and the other that I don't have a backup. I don't want to change my update settings and I do have a backup.

Is the absence of this thing causing you problems?

I can not stand these notifications and have disabled them. MBAM and SAS flag this as malware but I have allowed them on the “ignore” list. I know what is and what is not running on my machines…I think.
