SAW4437
I've decided recently to buy a new computer and me turning 14 in December I have no arguments with this. Step-Dad: Why do you need a new computer? This one does everything you need." See I need various reasons to go from Dell Inspiron E1405 to a Dell Xps 15z. I'm a web designer and so far all the programs I'm trying to run my video card or processor won't work on. Also my mother and father attend to downloading stuff taking up over 75Gbs of 100 for music pics and videos, and then keep to blaming it on me for my 3 programs...plus my pc is to slow to run some videos in high quality. It's also that thier pc is broke and down so they use my pc for "Facebook, Forums, and Youtube" I have been limited from as long as chores down n' grades good I can stay on as long, to 1 hour a day for their own selfishness. I need a new pc so they can have this one but they won't let me unless give a good 10-20 reasons. I needed to kinda let off some steam so half of this was not the question.... Short Question: Good reasons for going from Dell Inspiron E1405(Vista) to Dell XPs 15z(Windows7) Thanks In Advance... Specs on Dell Inspiron:RAM: 1.00 GbSysType: 32-bitOS: VistaYear: 2004Hardrive 100(11.5Gbs Free)
bludgard
I'll give ya five good reasons. Maybe someone else will offer more.... 1) Faster, more powerful CPU @ 2.9 or 3.5 GHz2) More RAM; 6-8 GB3) Better, more powerful GPU4) More staorage; Up to 500 GB SATA or up to 256 GB SSD5) It's Windows 7, man! What else can be said? Hope you get what you want, SAW4437. Come on back and let us know how you fare....
MANEMAN
It's your money. Buy what you want. It sounds to me as though your web design business is keeping these two selfish people in the kind of luxury that they dont deserve. Move out, let them find their own way in life. See exactly how they get on then.

ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Before you decide what to buy, you should really talk with Dell... This summer I decided that I needed a new computer, and I have seen that impressive (and inexpensive) Dell XPS at an electric shop. I went to the Dell store and asked the salesman a few questions... Every question I asked, the reply was: No, you cannot do that with XPS. No, we cannot put that in the XPS. No, we will not sell you an XPS. I ended up buying a Dell Latitude With Windows 7 Pro for almost double the price of the XPS. I am now very happy with it, but I am still not sure why they wouldn't let me have an XPS...?
