AlexD
My original question to the Windows Forum was how to store various dialogue box settings in the link below. />http://www.sevenforums.com/general-discussion/199992-how-do-i-store-various-dialogue-box-settings.html I've since discovered AutoIt, a program that allows you to create scripts/macros to execute various key strokes, mouse clicks at timed intervals. This would theoretically allow me to not only save any configuration but execute more powerful combinations to improve my efficiency. I'm basically looking for a way to say "Hey computer program, sit in the background until I press something, or you register something I've defined come up, then do this this this this this, wait for this, then do some more stuff". I've posted a question on the AutoIt forums in the link below, but thought the smart people here might be able to help me as well. I can't believe this isn't a more widely discussed topic. Something I didn't have to code in with a GUI would be fantastic! />http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/topic/136424-get-paid-to-help-me-with-a-basic-script/
MANEMAN
Hmmmm.................. Seems like you got your answer o.k over on the forum of Autoit. Autoit: "Try rentacoder, this is a support forum not a penny script arcade." The link and the message that the guy over there gave you ( http://www.autoitscr...lute-beginners/) is trying to convey a message to you, not only on the way you present yourself on forums but also your best (Cheapest) and fastest (Expensive) ways forward. I read your post here and formed an opinion. The guy at Autoit confirmed my opinion. It will be interesting to see what kind of response you get from Windows Seven Forums. John.
