graphics card

Putting it simply,

You cannot use your onboard graphics and a separate VGA card at the same time.

You will need a card with 2 video outputs to run 2 PC screens.

The one I linked to has 2 outputs - one DVI & one VGA.

What monitors do you intend to use ?

Hi Boris

sorry im new to all this so i might sound a bit thick at times i will be using a couple of the old style monitors (the white ones with the large back) until i can get another Dell one then i will be using 2 Dell ones. The card is only for running 2 monitors & not for any gaming

If you use one of these adapters

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cabling4Less-DVI-VGA-HD15-Adaptor/dp/B000FII810/ref=pd_bxgy_ce_text_c

with the card I linked to, you should be able to use 2 of the old CRT monitors (with VGA connections).

What exactly are you meaning by "home recording" ?
