Paul
Heres the official minimum system requirments from M$ Check your system requirementsMake sure that your PC is at least a 486/66MHz with 24 MB RAM. Also, please make sure that you have enough hard-disk space. A typical installation requires 205 MB to 260 MB of free hard-disk space, but may range between 190 MB to 400 MB, depending on your specific system configuration, the options you choose to install, and whether you are installing the full version or upgrade version of Windows 98It should work ok but it will be abit clunky. andsome
You have to remember that if he has been running 95, he probably has all the security updates and patches. If you now install 98 he will be unable to download any. Why doesn't he wait until he can afford a cheap more up to date computer?
moon
I've been running 98 for three years with no security updates or patches at all. Whatever they updated or patched it wasn't important :D
sleepingdanny
Why will he be unable to download anything? - He is connected to the internet...Also I'm planning to format his Hard-Drive before installing 98.
