MANEMAN
Cap'n Bludgard mentioned that he has Photoshop CS6, and I know what I have to say here about CS5 does apply to CS6 also.I had Adobe Photoshop CS5 open when I first installed it, and wanted to scan something into it. I could not find a way to import scans into Photoshop !......... Because......... They had decided to leave TWAIN support out of CS5 !!!! - Can you believe that !!Here is a list of the stuff that you used to have before upgrading from CS3 to CS4, CS5, CS6, and where you can get it if you need it, which will probably save you the time that I wasted. Here is where you can get them all for CS5: http://www.adobe.com....jsp?ftpID=4688The file to get the import / TWAIN support working again is only a 23kb 8ba file that you just drop into Import/Export in Adobe plugins. Hardly worth them leaving it out was it ?Plugins for other stuff past CS3 can be found here: http://helpx.adobe.c...op-cs4-cs5.html --------- and ----------- Here: http://www.adobe.com...pport:downloadsPhotoshop CS5 Optional PluginsAdobe Photoshop CS5 optional plugins and ReadMe file The following download is for the Adobeᆴ Photoshopᆴ CS5 English version. Some plug-ins and presets have been removed in Photoshop. If you still want to use these plug-ins and presets, you can download this package and install. The following plug-ins and associated files are included in this package: •Photoshop CS5 Optional plugins ReadMe•Picture Package (ContactSheetII)•ExtractPlus (Windows-only)•PatternMaker•PhotomergeUI•Web Photo Gallery (WebContactSheetII) plus presets•Script for Layer Comps to Web Photo Gallery•Texture presets for Texturizer•TWAIN

But then I use the original scanner software most of the time, as it gives me more options than Photoshop or Acrobat.
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
But maybe I am wrong; see http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/twain-plug-photoshop-cs4-cs5.htmlI will do some tests next week when I am at the bookstore (here at home the scanner is attached to the Japanese Windows machine with the Japanese Photoshop version; too difficult to use for me).
