Win 7 explorer not responding and needing forced shutdown

I have previously posted the following on a microsoft forum yesterday but i thought the more websites i post it on the more the problem can get out and the more chance of solving it .

"Every time i start up my computer after a certain amount of time or just after i open almost any application, it will crash. after that nothing will work, cant click anything cant ctrl-alt-del, cant ctrl-sft-esc, absolutely nothing works. If i try the click anywhere after that explorer.exe (i suspect) wont respond and never sorts itself out. This is the 5th time this year it has happened, every other time i have just re-installed the whole thing (windows-and all programs) sometimes leaving out programs that i thought might cause it such as Skype, TS3 and MS essentials like messenger and movie maker. It also just happened one day after turning the computer on, i didnt install anything new previously, no virus' so on so forth, COMPLETELY random.

Nothing worked, i looked everywhere online for anybody having the same problem but to no avail of anybody on win 7 and none where the the non responding explorer would need a restart. I have checked the event logs for app, system... so on and have only found warnings/errors as follows.

Log name: application, Event id: 10

Event filter query 'SELECT' FROM_instanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE target instance ISA "win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.Load percentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace"//./root/CIMV2 because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.

This may be the obvious cause of the problem but i looked it up and i wasn't sure, i only know of the general computer info, I'm not this into it.

2nd event was just and error with sideshow1 which i believe is just an application error to do with my G510 keyboard LCD screen.

Last of all one of the nights i thought i might leave it over night instead of shutting down to see what happens, i thought it would be the same but instead it was on startup saying it could not find the hard drive with the windows files. Again im not sure if connected with above error but i checked all the cables and everything was fine. If you know anything please help me out i cant do anything else about it with my knowledge.

Cheers in advance

Ryno

P.S. if you need any info about the system E.G. programs, specs Etc."
