Lamb Chop
This is a bit of a different one and for security but it gets a bit silly when working on a website or forum where one goes from page to page and it wont allow you too. So you have to click allow and on some sites they are signing me out in the middle of doing business for their security. I have searched but cant find either how to on my firefox options or even on their website help support. Anyone know ? I even rolled back to 19 as on XP it didnt happen but still does on windows 7. And used the same program from XP to install not a new download.
Boris
Not really sure exactly what your problem is - but the latest secure version of Firefox is now V21. Get whichever of the 70 language versions you need from :- http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
Lamb Chop
Problem is as I thought I explained when for example oi go to order books from the Library on line first I log in and then it takes me to another page - but firefox doesnt atuomatically go there it has a drop down bar across and "Allow" on the end so have to click onto that to go toi the next page, and then again and again as I order books so go from author to author which is page to page and every time this allow stops me slowing me down so very annoying, and it should be able to be passed by - and cant find how to do it. And that is one job - happens all the time on every website where you go to a second or third page.
Boris
Do you have the NoScript add-on installed ?
Lamb Chop
No what is that? I also found that Ccleaner is not deleting cookies since upgraded to Windows 7 and the bookmarks in Firefox dont drop a menu of files as it used to do but just the headings. Weird the way things dont work the same in Windows 7 compared wi5th XP - methinks is is not an improvement in lots of ways still think XP best OS they have come up with. Shame so many things that get improved these days - are in actual fact - worse. Same with food. And life come to that
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
it has a drop down bar across and "Allow" on the end Can you post a screenshot of that? Otherwise it's very hard to understand what is going on.
