linek
There is a Windows SBS Standard 2011 running in school. Whenever more than 10 pcs connect to internet there is someone that gets disconnected and needs to reconnect. It is problematic because there are more than 10 children in class so it is next to impossible to carry out a lesson properly. Are there any restrictions inside this version of Windows Server that might be the reason of this?
Boris
Windows SBS Standard requires a Windows Server user or device CAL (Client Access License) for each user or device accessing or using the server software It sounds like you may have a 10 concurrent user License Restriction operating ?Whoever runs/administers your school network is really the person you need to contact about this problem. This may help you :-http://www.microsoftvolumelicensing.com/userights/ProductPage.aspx?pid=
linek
Sorry it took me so long to answer but I was on vacations. Seems like it is the problem here, thanks for help. I have some SBS 2012 licenses that I have no idea how to use cause it is completely different from 2003. I searched the internet but could not find any info/tutorial on how to exactly do it. Is there a clearly written guide on how to do it? I believe that if I just use those licenses this restriction will not occur.
