Tor browser

Recommended Posts

I saw this browser mentioned, it said that it uses proxy servers so you surfing cannot be tracked or harvested, so you will not be bombarded with adds.

Tried it for a couple of days and did not like it.

So I decided to uninstall it, that is where the problems began.

No entry in the uninstall category for Vidalia which starts Tor or for Tor.

So I did a search and found the folder and clicked delete and Windows said NO it is in use.

So into the registry and deleted all keys relating to Vidalia and Tor and finally I was able to delete the folder.

I will stick with Adblock in future.
