As I said the last time you asked this question -

Have you read this :-

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-gaming/fsx-acceleration-activation-issue-again/ab657a72-a56c-4b83-9c7c-3495b5de46ca

?

It’s evident that I missed your answer, or couldn’t remember where it was posted. I’m not having a problem authorizing the “Flight Simulator X Acceleration”. I’m having a Problem having to authorizing every time I run Flight Simulator X. I don’t have a problem authorizing, it accepts the numbers. The reference you gave has a problem registering. I’m new at Microsoft’s forums so bare with me.

The only other suggestions I can find, are in this MS Article:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/969886 (Perhaps method 2?)

Have you installed the Service Packs? As far as I can see there are two.

Here is a download for SP2: http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=8986

SP2 will not load, the message says, Service Pack, cannot be installed because FSX Acceleration is already installed, All features i service pack 2 are included in ACC pack.

By using the method used for Vista, the problem was cured for now. Thanks for the infomation.

Good news! You are welcome. :)
