johnoo Posted October 23, 2013 Report Share Posted October 23, 2013 When I look at pictures in this library each picture is followed by a Blank image with a title that includes the preceding picture number and then JPG.m odd. What are these for? Assume I just leave them there as they do not appear on CD's I make? Looking at this in a bit more detail if I click right on these blank files it says they are "MODD" files & they were all created today when I installed the Sony software for putting pictures onto the computer. johnoo Posted October 23, 2013 Author Report Share Posted October 23, 2013 To answer my own question, in case it helps others, it appears that "MODD" files are used only by Sony camerasI have managed to get rid of all 14,000 found on my system by putting "*.modd" into windows 7 search & then selecting delete.They have now gone & I sure that all the picture files are OK.
