savak
I've a video file, 1.4gb, I wish to copy from my WIndows7 desktop computer to pen drive. During the copy process the progress bar comes to a halt and wont copy the file, so I have to cancel the copy process using the Task Manager. This happens with any removable media, but the twist is I can edit and save files from Microsoft Office or other software to the removable media without problems. I've scanned the HDD's and removable media for viruses or Malware but nothing shows up.Using other USB ports and drives has no effect either. Is there anything I can do to copy the file to my removable media? Any hints/help welcome. RegardsGraeme
Irene
Not sure if this will help, but it does explain the various methods for transfer:http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/104/~/transferring-files-onto-a-usb-flash-drive

-pops-
What is the capacity of the drive you are trying to write to? You will most likely need a lot more space than 1.4GB available on the drive to be able to copy a file of that size.
savak
The pen drives are 16gb with more than 14gb free
-pops-
Pen drives are usually preformatted FAT 32 which has a limited file size. Try reformatting to the NTFS file system (same as your computer).
