Guest Posted October 9, 2003 Report Share Posted October 9, 2003 I went shopping today, looking to upgrade my measly 256mb DDR to 512mb......Fine i thought, lets visit the computer shops in town and se what they have.....the prices i was quoted for 256mb PC2100 DDR memory were as follows:Nameless shop 1: £42Nameless shop 2: £38Nameless shop 3: £45Now i am one of those people that does not have a credit card, so ordering from crucial etc is not an option but for reference the price is £34.What has happened to the price of memory? It is unbranded but I have dealt with this particular retailer on a few occasions (even mentioned that he hadn't seen me for ages!!! :huh:) and I know I wouldn't have any problems if I had to return something.
