Anyway I revert to type bringing you yet more out and out weirdness from the land of the rising sun. Where just when I thought I'd seen it all they move the goalposts. It's a pop video from a group called Brats, featuring one of the girls from Ladybaby, clearly not averse to challenging preconceptions or maybe just doing stuff that's totally bonkers and somewhat tasteless. I'll be clear even for a strange old git like moi who likes this kind of stuff this is way out on a limb. It's fluffy pop played by teenage girls but with more than a hint of slasher movie, think chainsaws, loads of blood, exploding heads and young girls doing some very disturbing things to a teddy bear. You think I exaggerate ? Not one bit, the video director is clearly channelling Quentin Tarantino. If this had been presented this to Auntie Beeb as a TOTP video they'd have flipped out and suffered total brain implosion. I have no idea what it's about and I'm not sure I want to know. Or worse still the Greatest hits of Justin Bieber on loop. I wonder has anybody sinned enough to suffer deserve such outlandish punishment ?
