How pathetic and stupid can the powers that be get??? We'll probably end up with 999 calls routed through Darwin. Already 999 calls can end up anywhere in the country. Someone who I know had a reason to call 999 recently, and when she was trying to explain where the ambulance was supposed to call, the operator let on that she was speaking from Edinburgh.
