Guest Posted October 16, 2003 Report Share Posted October 16, 2003 The reason behind Windows XP's Service Pack 2 delay for the first half of 2004 is said to be the inclusion of a set of new security features, code-named 'Springboard'.Springboard is said to include the following security enhancements:An updated version of the Internet Connection Firewall (ICF), which will include outbound scanning capabilities and other features previously found only in ISA Server.
