mark2
We made mistakes tho, if the 'boks had scored with their penalties, could well have been a different result. Well pleased tho, :P :P :P
moon
A good win, Poms, no doubt aboutcha. Hard work though, wasn't it ?But the efficiency and composure that have marked England's rise to the top of the world rankings was conspicuous by its absence for long periods. They only visited South Africa's 22 on one occasion in the first half as the Springboks pack cranked up the pressure. On the other hand ........Ozzies run 'em ragged !!!! :D :DThe Wallabies ran up the highest score of the tournament so far to leave their opponents not only beaten, but battered. Guest
if you really want to go there moonEngland run them raggedso, thats one of the worlds top three out of the way, only New Zealand to go as we can't play ourselves and the ozzies not even being close to us!!! :P :D
mark2
Springbok coach Rudi Straeuli added: "At times we had them under pressure and there were two or three tries we didn't get. "That's youth against experience. Against the top team in the world you've got to get those tries and kick those goalsQUOTEÂ But the efficiency and composure that have marked England's rise to the top of the world rankings was conspicuous by its absence for long periods. They only visited South Africa's 22 on one occasion in the first half as the Springboks pack cranked up the pressure. But we did do it. ! We handled the pressure and won :P :P

mark2
http://rugby.itv.com/Latest_News/story_31746.shtmlWinning the line-out was not altogether a surprise as the Wallabies conceded many turnovers and committed several handling errors in this match of many points.England made mistakes but Ozzies a bit ragged too ??? :P
