andsome Posted October 28, 2003 Report Share Posted October 28, 2003 Sometime ago, someone suggested that we bring up Google and then enter our website nicknames. A lot of us did this and we all had a good laugh. I did it again today and entered andsome, the result was a link direct to this site, to my personal settings, and my e-mail address was there. I wonder if this fact can have any bearing on the fact that my spam has increased dramatically of late. This morning there were 62 spam waiting on the server and at least another 20 or so have arrived today. I have now removed my e-mail address from 'My Controls' page, and would advise others to do the same. Tankus Posted October 28, 2003 Report Share Posted October 28, 2003 Just tried it myself ...andsome ...my controls page was the 14 th hit ....good point ..I'm not normally at home in the afternoon's , but I've had 3 cold calls , one for kitchens and two for double glazing since Ive been sitting here ......!I had to pick up as I thought it may be work .........Somewhat annoying , and they all knew my name ........
