WF Temporary Site

Windows Forum will be changing hosts over the coming week.

During this process windowsforum.org may become unavailable for up to 48hours while the DNS servers are updated.

To prevent the forum having too much downtime, we shall move to windowsforumhosting.com for a short period of time during the transfer.

When the site is switched over from one address to the other, a page will be displayed instructing you of the change.

For those of you who want to know, Windows Forum is moving to Invision as their hosting plans are slightly cheaper and a lot better that our current host.

Moving to Invision has the added bonus that all support is handled by one company, so if any problems arise it can be dealt with and resolved more efficiently.

After the transfer, Windows Forum should also benefit from a little power boost, as their severs have been designed with the forum in mind.

Invision is a growing business, and I have been a user of their software for over a year now. Throughout the year I have had several problems, all of which have been answered on their own forum. Now Windows Forum is now a registered customer, support is even better, and over the past week I have used their technical support on no less than 15 occasions and have received responses and resolutions within 15 minutes via email.

I hope you will all stick by the forum during this move as it should be relatively painless!

Craig.

Downtime should be around 5 minutes from here to windowsforumhosting.com, and then around 30 minutes back to windowsforum.org on the new host.

Hope you can handle a total of 35 minutes!

Lester1 We are currently sitting on a temporary site, all the links of a few days ago and earlier will be to the old site and of course the forum is here and not there, which is why they won't work.

Is that ok??

Am I going mad? I thought there was a BB section here that I posted a question on routers in a couple of weeks ago, I've been back since... I remember thinking how much better than PCA this site was as I actually got answers.

Similar happened last time win forum moved... I lost my account and created a new one with what I think are exactly the same details, wierd... or maybe I'm just quite quite mad.
