The government has called on UK broadband providers to come up with proposals on how to ensure high-speed network access for every UK community by the end of 2005. E-commerce minister Stephen Timms told the Cambridge MIT Institute National Competitiveness Summit this week that he wants a deeper partnership between industry, central and regional governments, and local communities.scource

artist
Needs to be MUCH cheaper for me. I can't justify the high price as I mainly use the computer for 'fun'.I'd love to have it though.

Guest nellie2
There are some ISP's that are doing a 128kbs service..(ok, not really broadband but better than a smack in the face!!) for more or less the same price as dial up.Here is a comparison site for you to have a gander at.http://www.adslguide.org.uk/isps/compare.asp
