Win 10 or Win 11?

Recommended Posts

Doesn't seem that long ago that we were being told that W10 was the "Last" Windows as it could be updated indefinitely. Yet here we are with W11 a platform that many people dislike and a draconian set of hardware requirements that prevent it being installed on many computers that should be perfectly capable of running it. Now I'm a cynical old scroat but this looks like a sales push to get us to dump perfectly functional PCs and invest in new ones that to be honest we don't need.

I'm a died in the wool dinosaur and I'm still running XP & W8 and if pushed to update will probably go back to Linux Mint which is now user friendly and free.  Anyhow none of my PCs or laptops meet the new hardware parameters so upgrading isn't an option even if I wanted.
