Maria Dwyer
Can I have some advice regarding gaming laptops? I’m not very good with understanding hardware. Money isn’t an issue and, portability and battery life don’t matter much as I always leave my laptop at home anyway. Edit: I move a lot so I prefer laptops over desktops for the portability. Edit 2: My current laptop is HP Pavilion Gaming 15. It’s okay for most games on low graphics. Heats up easily, but I imagine this is how most laptops run which is why I have a cooling fan. If I play with high graphics on most games, I notice the game stuttering.
Belatucadrus
Unfortunately even in its heyday this forum didn't cater much to gamers or have much knowledge on gaming hardware. Your use of a cooling fan is clearly a good idea when driving the CPU hard for long periods. The only suggestions I can come up with that may improve your HP would be to maximise the RAM memory fitted and make sure the cooling vents are blown clean with an air duster. I would have suggest fitting a solid state hard drive but looks as if it's already got one so that's no good. Best of luck but I think you'll be better off with a gaming or HP specific forum than here, it's out of our comfort zone in a big way. Some people need a light and portable laptop for gaming and entertainment, while others need a bit more power for gaming or graphic design. A gaming laptop can also be used for gaming. A gaming laptop is a laptop that is designed for playing computer games. Gaming laptops are usually more expensive than regular laptops. Plus, they’re usually more affordable than other types of laptops with similar specs. A decision to buy a gaming laptop is very good because it provides high graphics on a little expense. So, I advice you to buy only a gaming laptop as it is stated above that it can be use in various porposes of gaming, entertainment and working etc.
