Chris
I remote Assisted and found nothing obvious. However "Automatically Restart" has bee unchecked so we should have the Blue screen with the technical information to help diagnose the problem further.Event Viewer has a few errors which related to the registry but they are common ones. madboy33
got another problem nowI dont have a password for my account and the administrator box is there behind the message below and is greyed out.when starting the computer it says"Log On messageThe system could not log on.Make sure your user and domain are correct, then type your password again. Letters in the passwords must be typed in using the correct case."
Guest ellas
quote from a member "xp shouldnt ask for a password to get into safe mode unless its the administrator password. He would have had to have entered that one when he initially installed XP"
