bvw
http://www.winsupersite.com/showcase/windowsxp_sg_clean.asp5. Choose an installation partitionThis crucial step lets you choose where to install XP. On a clean install, you will typically install to the C: drive, but you might have other ideas, especially if you plan to dual-boot with 9x. Setup will show you all of your available disks (in this case, just one) and let you create and delete partitions as needed. So, for example, if you have one disk, but would like to create two partitions, one for XP and one for your data, you can do that here.Good luck madboy, watch out for blaster :)

-pops-
Think carefully before you put a backup on to the same physical disk as the item it is backing up.In a case of catastrophic failure of the disk (a fairly common occasion where a backup is needed) you will have lost everything. As hard drives are so cheap now and you're almost certain to have room for another one, IMO your best approach would be to install another drive.Heed the sage advice about blaster and get stinger as well as the M$ patch, just in case you are caught http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/
