Guest Timeforabeer Posted February 1, 2003 Report Share Posted February 1, 2003 Hi everyone :) Having a bit of a problem..... just downloaded the latest spywareblaster and when trying to install it , it came up with the following message...Run time error 330Component "MSCOMCTL.OCX" or one of it's dependancies not correctly registered. A file is missing or invalid.It then refuses to install.... :o Anyone with any ideas on how to fix this???? :huh: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mark2 Posted February 1, 2003 Report Share Posted February 1, 2003 Here's the solution for you TFBDownload the file from here (select Save As): http://activex.microsoft.com/controls/vb6/mscomctl.cabThen, copy both files from the file you downloaded to any folder (but make sure you copy both to the same folder). To do this, highlight both files, right-click and select "copy". Then go to any folder and right-click and select "paste".Right-click on the MSCOMCTL.INF file that you have now extracted and select "Install Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
