bluesman821
I've got an Logitech optical and use the mouse port (with adapter). It's been awhile but I believe that's what is recommended.Just noticed Madboy33,one year today at Windows Forum.Congratulations. :birthday:

Redhat
Doesn't really matter whether you use usb or ps2, but you will most likely get a USB > PS2 adapter with the mouse :)
-pops-
I always bung a mouse in the PS2 - what else can you use that port for?More exciting things can be inserted into the USB connector.

Tony
HiSame as above, i have 2 PC's with USB mice and i use the USB to PS2 adaptor to connect them to the PS2 port. The main reason that i do this for, is that any OS i have installed apart from XP does not see the mouse connected to the USB port until the OS is installed, so during the install process you have no mouse.CheersTony
