artist Posted December 24, 2003 Report Share Posted December 24, 2003 150ml brandy1 litre med dry sparkling cider2 bottles dry white wine 290 mls water55gr granulated sugar - or to taste3 apples cored and sliced2 oranges, sliced4 cinnamon sticksPut all the ingredients into a large saucepan over a gentle heat and stir to dissolve the sugar.Bring to simmering point and keep warm for 15 minutes.Do not boil or the alcohol will evaporate.We usually make half the amount.
