Craig Posted January 4, 2004 Report Share Posted January 4, 2004 Downtime Sat – SunWe have experienced more downtime last night, between the hours of 23:00 – 06:00.The server we are hosted on encountered several problems which resulted in a gradual to total lose of http, ftp and email access to the forum. This is not related to the problem we had New Year’s Day.Invision were working on the problem within 15 minutes of being notified, and had the server rebooted within 30 minutes which usually means they have rectified the problem, however on this occasion, the server inadvertently moved directories and files which resulted in 404 and 505 error pages.As you can see, we are back up and running now, so the problems have been fixed.I’m sorry for any inconvenience caused while you have not been able to access the forum.CraigWindows Forum Administrator Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Craig Posted January 4, 2004 Author Report Share Posted January 4, 2004 Support technicians have confirmed that a hard drive failure occurred which caused last nights problems.The drive has been replaced, and with exception of attachments / avatars uploaded a couple of hours before the system failure, all data has been restored.
